I'll be okay.
It's hope that will keep me engaged,
some things will never change
but it's honesty that will keep me this way.
Following through,
it's hard to explain it to you,
the words that I'm finding so hard to choose
are poison it's true.
Please be prepared,
you know that I'm frightened to share
a bed with your candor,
in a home that's so bare.
What's not to lose?
I read what I've written to you,
the poetry that I've found in lieu,
was well overdue.

Change was all in my mind
when I came to rewind
all the things that I said,
but the words that were easy to find
fell hard and unkind,
they were painful to say.
I said,
"No, I don't know you at all."
Dreams, don't let them tear us apart,
you said "follow your heart",
but that was only a start.
It's a phrase fit for release,
to have words like 'believe'
but it don't mean a thing
because,
no, I don't know you at all.

Hold on to your form?
I haven't finished yet.
Recognise my call?
It helps that you forget.
All of the colours
melt into each other,
a white robe of wonder,
we're waiting to recover (/discover)
Who would care if I wasn't there?
A wedding cake for an empty chair.
"I was running home,
(before I found myself here)"

Home again? Home again.
Let it sink in, I've been sinking in.
Feeling light. I'm not feeling right,
for the heavens, for the heathens.
Wounds never die, some wounds never die;
I've been lying, you've been crying.
I'm falling. I'm falling?
Can you carry me? I've been running.
Waiting to be burdened
with a heavy hand, with a headiness.
Look to the sky, I'm lost on your Isle,
here's to honesty, here's to memory.

Who's loving you?
The world is asleep
and there's nothing to keep you from
bullets and snow,
painful and cold;
who's so alone?
Jaded and torn,
I'm with the ghosts of the dawn,
the doldrums are deep
and my heart cannot speak at all.
Empty the cage,
sit and behave;
I cannot wait this long.
When I wake up,
I clutch the sun before it tapers;
"pull yourself together!"
